How To Know What Iphone 5 You Have

First Question: What iOS is Your iPhone Running?
From iOS 10.3, it's been easy to figure out your iOS.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Select About.
You'll see what version you're running. Be sure to also take note of your model number. You can use this to check your model number later.
How to Tell iPhone Model: iOS 10.3 or Later
iOS 10.3 didn't have the most spectacular features. But it did have some nice little updates for users.
One very helpful additional was the ability to quickly check what iPhone you under the settings. To do this:
- Open the Settings app.
- At the top, you'll see your Apple ID profile photo and your name. Tap on it.

If you haven't upgraded to iOS 10.3 or have an iPhone that can't update beyond iOS 9.3.5, you'll need to find your iPhone model number. This also works for older iPads too.
- Your iPhone's model number is located on the back near the bottom of the phone.
- It's in extremely small print. You might need some extra light or even a magnifying glass!
- It will say Model: A#### (The letter A followed by four numbers).
- Write down the model number.
